Core Facilities
“Core Facilities” are a set of often unique facilitites (technological units), which are used by scientists from the various research teams across the scientific disciplines. This concentration of high-quality equipment in one place requires high acquisition costs and often has high running costs too. The necessary resources for the economic viability of these labs are therefore shared. For reasons of easy access, the operation of laboratories is set up in such a way as to be accessible to scientific teams, not just from CEITEC, but also from all over the country and internationally.
