Research Programmes
CEITEC is based on the synergy of 7 research programmes. The main features of integration will be the central laboratories (”core facilities”) and to maximize synergies concentrated in only two sites, the campus at Masaryk University in Brno – Bohunice campus and University of Technology – Pod Palacky Vrch campus in Brno – Králové Pole. Laboratories in the campus should focus on science and medicine and may benefit from their proximity to the Faculty Hospital in Brno and the biomedical incubator. There will be a centre for material science and advanced technologies at the Pod Palacky Vrch campus. Both parts will operate as inter-disciplinary scientific workplaces used throughout the university.
