Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Wyatt DynaPro NanoStar with Wyatt Dynamics software package

Description

Based on the Brownian random motion used for calculation of particles size (hydrodynamic radius, Rh) of measured structures dissolved/dispersed in solution.

Applications

- Used for analysis of proteins, micelles, colloids, metallic nanoparticles, quantum dots
- Study of particles interactions, particles stability in solutions, surface modification of particles

Specifications

- Rh from 1 ̶ 2500 nm
- Very small volume of samples from 1 μL (from 4 μL with disposable cuvettes)
- „Standard“ high-volume quartz cuvette with silicon lid eliminating solvent evaporation
- Analysis in aqueous solution and in organic solvents
- Temperature range from 10 ̶ 100°C, laser wavelength 658 nm
- Analysis of very diluted samples (0.1 mg/mL pro lysozyme)
