Main Laboratory Technician/Lab Manager



We are a research group working in the field of plant biology. We use advanced molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, proteomics and structural biology approaches to study the role of plant hormone in the plant development with ultimate goal to use the information in the crop improvement; more details could be found here

We seek for main laboratory technician/lab manager, with the main responsibility of maintaining the everyday traffic in the lab and related administration.


Position description:

laboratory management (mainly ordering chemicals and consumables, documentation, preparing the common stock solutions, media, consumables, sterilization, cleaning the lab glass and plastic in the professional lab dishwasher, etc.)

performing selected experiments e.g. DNA isolation and purification, plant protoplast isolation and transformation, performing the LUC assay – the necessary training will be provided

communication with lab members and ware suppliers (Czech/English)
