1. Identification of RNA binding protein function and regulation patterns

Using state of the art Machine Learning techniques (such as Deep Learning architectures) the candidate will analyze Next Generation Sequencing data from various experimental methodologies (such as CLIP-Seq) in order to identify the mechanistic patterns of RNA binding protein function and regulation. This interdisciplinary bioinformatics project touches on Machine Learning for pattern recognition, Next Generation Sequencing Analysis, and Protein-RNA Interaction Networks.
