The Cybernetics and Robotics Research Group at CEITEC BUT focuses on the development of intelligent control systems, robotics, automation, sensing technologies, and embedded systems for modern industry and the mobility of the future. The group brings together around sixty researchers who bridge fundamental research with practical industrial applications. A significant part of its current research is dedicated to electromobility, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing digitalisation, and industrial robotics
The research group is led by Professor Pavel Václavek, whose work focuses on cybernetics, automation, and intelligent control systems. His research bridges academia and industry, with a particular emphasis on technologies for future mobility, autonomous systems, and the factories of the future.
Our laboratories bring together an excellent research team with state-of-the-art instrumentation to develop advanced technologies in the fields of drives, robotics, and sensor technology. We are dedicated to research at the interface of theory and practice. From the design of control algorithms to testing in real industrial conditions.
