RICAIP (Research and Innovation Centre on Advanced Industrial Production) is an international center of excellence focused on robotics and artificial intelligence, established as a strategic collaboration between four leading research institutions from the Czech Republic and Germany – CIIRC CTU, CEITEC BUT, DFKI, and ZeMA. Part of the center’s infrastructure includes Industry 4.0 laboratories, known as testbeds.
Testbeds are modern, fully equipped facilities that realistically simulate real manufacturing environments. They offer companies a unique opportunity to validate their innovative projects before implementation, work with new technologies, and receive support from research teams. At the RICAIP Testbed Brno, you can find technologies focused on CNC and additive manufacturing, high-precision 3D measurement, drive diagnostics, robotics, communication technologies, AI, virtual reality, and telepresence.
We focus on automation, manufacturing digitalization, and Industry 4.0. Take advantage of our services at a discounted rate with minimal administrative burden, thanks to co-financing from European funds under the Digital Europe programme and support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The collaboration is very similar to a standard commercial contract—we handle most of the administration for you.
The European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH-DIGIMAT) project is intended for European companies with up to 2999 employees within a holding structure in the manufacturing sector and its supporting services. By drawing support from the de minimis register, you can receive a 85% discount on services.
The European Testing and Experimentation Facility (TEF AI-MATTERS) is designed for European companies with up to 249 employees (SMEs) to apply artificial intelligence in the manufacturing industry. By drawing support from the de minimis register, you can receive a 100% discount on services.
