Description:

The dSPACE SCALEXIO LabBox is a compact HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) simulator and rapid prototyping system designed for laboratory environments, offering high computing power and flexible interfaces for the development and testing of control systems. The system is modular and allows for the integration of various I/O cards, which are connected via the IOCNET real-time bus to the SCALEXIO Processing Unit. In the configuration equipped with DS6051, DS6601 (FPGA KU035), DS2655M1, DS2655M2, DS6101, and DS6201, the LabBox is ready for a wide range of signal and computing tasks—from signal generation and data logging to parallel computations on the FPGA.
The DS6601 with the Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA (KU035) enables very fast signal processing and the implementation of user-defined algorithms, with the option to connect to ADC/DAC and digital I/O. The DS2655M1 and DS2655M2 are cards optimized for PWM inputs and outputs, making them ideal for simulating motors and power electronics. The DS6101 adds classic analog and digital I/O with up to 16-bit resolution to the system, while the DS6201 provides highly accurate analog outputs for generating reference signals or controlling processes. This combination forms a powerful and versatile foundation for the development and testing of embedded control units in the automotive industry, robotics, renewable energy and others.
