The Brno (electron) microscopy community invites all those who have something to say about the topic to a networking event at CEITEC MUNI
One in three electron microscopes in the world comes from Brno, so where else but Brno should a community whose greatest joys measure tenths of a nanometer be formed? Local players in (electron) microscopy, including CEITEC MUNI and CEITEC BUT, have established a microscopy platform that is small in name but big in the support and commitment of its members.
The #brnoregion is already one of the world leaders in research, development and production of these instruments, but there is still room for improvement as we work together to achieve greater national and international visibility. Our dream is for #brnoregion to be the first association when the world talks about (electron) microscopy. What will this bring us? We will be more visible. New projects and collaborations between the corporate and academic sectors will emerge. The attractiveness of relevant disciplines at universities will increase and the topic of microscopy will attract foreign talent to the region. And that is what we want above all.
CEITEC MUNI will host the "120 Seconds: Meet the Microscopy Community" event on 30th November 2023. And here is a call to fellow scientists and core facility leaders from CEITEC: Show off to other colleagues in the field of microscopy what you are working on, how you can be useful to each other, and most importantly, talk about collaboration, because synergies will abound at this event. You will have only 120 seconds to present!
