In this seminar, Dr. med. Verena Schöwel, MBA will share her journey from clinical practice to co-founding the biotech company MyoPax with Prof. Simone Spuler. Driven by the pressing need for innovative muscle disease therapies, their goal is to translate the pioneering research of Prof. Spuler's muscle research team at the Max Delbrück Center and Charité in Berlin into clinical practice. Early on, the team gained support from the SPARK-BIH program and later from the BioInnovation Institute's Incubator Program in Copenhagen. As the CEO of a novel biotech company, Verena is eager to talk about her experiences and insights.
