Czech Leading Research Institutions Have Offered Their Help to the Government

Ensuring sufficient population testing is most important in managing the current situation of limiting the spread of the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Directors of leading Czech research institutions, CEITEC Masaryk University, IOCB Prague - Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, IMG - Institute of Molecular Genetics CAS and Biology Center CAS, have offered their help to the government, in regards to the necessary instrumentation, scientific staff, and knowledge.

“These weeks of emergency and the restriction of movement are seen as the time to prepare sufficient capacities and materials to ensure truly comprehensive testing to handle the virus in the coming months,” says CEITEC MU Director, Jiri Nantl.
