Selection criteria
The awards are granted on the basis of the nominees’ contribution to the reputation of Masaryk University in both the Czech and international context. The nomination covers the period of the past completed academic year 2021/2022 (September 2021 - August 2022).
Examples of results suitable the awards:
- M17+ results graded with “1” in Module 1
- Publication in top (mainly interdisciplinary) journals, the principal or corresponding author comes from Masaryk University
- Success in highly competitive international grant contests (ERC, coordinating role in H2020/HEU, EMBO, Wellcome Trust etc. projects)
- Representation of the university with exceptional reception (in media, among expert community etc.)
- Membership in prominent science associations and editorial boards of prestigious journals
- Active promotion and communication of science to general public
- Books published by prestigious international publishing houses
