COST Actions CA22157 RECROP Workshop: Epigenetic and Post-Transcriptional Gene Regulation for Stress Response and Memory During Plant Reproduction

About event

The focus would be on epigenetic and post-transcriptional gene regulation of the stress response and its impact on stress memory at short and long terms (transgenerational). It includes filed related to reproduction, transition into germination, seed priming.

As part of the COST Action CA22157 RECROP, we are organising a workshop on the topics related to the impact of epigenetic and post-transcriptional gene regulation, and control of translation initiation control in response to abiotic stress, focusing on aspects of plant reproduction. Abiotic stress during the reproductive developmental phase significantly affects on seed yield and quality. The workshop will discuss research into the molecular regulation of the stress response.

Programme

The event is organised on site in the premises of CEITEC in the Bohunice Campus of Masaryk university, Czech Republic.

The programme includes a visit of the Mendel museum and the Basilica.

Confirmed speakers (to be updated)

  • Albert Cairo Calzada, CEITEC MUNI, Czech Republic
  • Anna Schulten, JIC Norwich, UK
