Bio
Helene Robert Boisivon leads a research group at CEITEC Masaryk University that specializes in plant biology, particularly how plants respond to their environment and how their growth processes are regulated at the molecular level. Her research focuses on early seed development in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and its relative Brassica napus (oilseed rape). The research group is particularly interested in how high temperatures affect seed development and quality and specialises in the study of hormonal signalling pathways that regulate plant growth and development.
Helene Robert Boisivon has worked at the École normale supérieure de Lyon in France, the University of Leiden in The Netherlands, and the Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (VIB) of Ghent in Belgium.
