Jaroslav Koca Memorial Colloquium on Computational and Structural Biology
WHEN: Tuesday, November 30, 2021
WHERE: Hotel Continental Brno
Organizers: Vladimír Sklenář, Michaela Wimmerová
Main contacts: Šárka Fajtlová, Veronika Papoušková
A one-day colloquium is organized in a memory of our esteemed colleague and one the NCBR and CEITEC fathers, Professor Jaroslav Koča, who unexpectedly passed away on July 2, 2021. Jaroslav was the President of Czech Science Foundation (GAČR), Emeritus Scientific Director of the CEITEC Consortium, and Director of the National Centre for Biomolecular Research at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University. Lectures and contributions by invited speakers will bring back memories of Jaroslav’s tenure and will present the latest scientific findings in structural and computational biology.
Registration is open till November 15, 2021.
