Junior in MAGNONIC MATERIALS AND DEVICES
Junior – MAGNONICKÉ MATERIÁLY A ZAŘÍZENÍ
We are looking for a candidate with an extensive knowledge of solid-state physics, magnetism and magnonics, with extensive experience in numerical simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics. The candidate will develop new theoretical concepts for magnonic materials and devices and will support the team of experimentalists in experiment design and with the interpretation of the experimental data. The research will deal with ferro-, ferri-, antiferro- and altermagnetic materials, studying various spin wave phenomena in them and application of these materials to prototypical magnonic devices.
The Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC), located in Brno, Czech Republic, is seeking outstanding candidates for a postdoctoral research position focused on developing new magnonic materials and devices. The candidate must have
- A Ph.D. in physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Proficient knowledge of COMSOL Multiphysics software.
- Experience in numerical simulations of magnonic systems.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English, as the position involves collaborating with international colleagues.
- Ability to carry out the research projects independently, interpret the data and write manuscripts.
- Excellent teamwork skills, self-motivation, initiative and persistence.
The selected candidate will
- Carry out the research projects independently, interpret the data and write manuscripts.
- Support the experimental team with the interpretation of the experimental data.
- Develop new theoretical concepts for magnonic materials and devices and propose experiments to test these concepts.
- Have team spirit, acting as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on numerical simulations and spin wave physics.

Employment Conditions
