The most valuable resources at CEITEC are scientists and experts who have the knowledge and skills to work with unique devices. Two reports were devoted to this on Czech Television.

The important scientists undoubtedly include the world-famous molecular biologist Mary O'Connell, who specializes in autoimmune diseases. Great colleagues and excellent facilities - these are the main reasons why she joined us at CEITEC Masaryk University. Check out the report here.

One representative from the young talented scientists at CEITEC is Zdenek Farka, who is one of the creators of a device that is able to detect salmonella in food. Director of CEITEC MU, Jiri Nantl, also emphasised our plant-biological research, which has great potential in sustainable agriculture in dealing with drought and the impact of climate change. A report on excellent science at CEITEC on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the opening of the high-tech pavilion of CEITEC MU can be found here (in Czech only).

Both reports can be found in regional TV news from September 12, 2019.

Many thanks to the Czech Television for its interest in excellent science in Brno!
