Dr. Dasa Bohaciakova’s Neurobiology group at the Faculty of Medicine MU, studies neurological disorders in vitro using a large portfolio of neural stem cell-based systems, including 2D neurons and 3D cerebral organoids. The group currently focuses on modeling Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathogenesis. We aim to investigate, and ultimately understand, the mechanisms of AD initiation and progression.
