Our research group studies the molecular mechanisms that govern how plants manage their genetic information and how they respond to conditions they encounter throughout their lives. We focus on key processes such as DNA protection, control of cell division, and responses to stress. We also study telomeres – special protective structures at the ends of chromosomes that play an important role in cellular longevity. Our research provides new insights into the fundamental biological processes that shape plant growth and adaptation to the environment.
