In collaboration with IOCB Prague, we warmly invite all PhD candidates and postdocs to join the 2025 CEITEC & IOCB Symposium for Early-Career Researchers! This joint event offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow young scientists, exchange ideas across disciplines, and explore new collaborations. Whether you're looking for fresh scientific inspiration, practical insights, or just a great time with peers, we look forward to seeing you there!
The programme will feature invited lectures from both CEITEC and IOCB, two seminars on technology transfer and effective scientific communication, selected scientific talks by postdocs and PhD candidates, an interactive poster session (in which instead of preparing a traditional poster specifically for the symposium, participants are asked to design a graphical abstract on an A3 or A4 sheet of paper), and an evening program including dinner.
The conference fee is 1 500 CZK for participants from CEITEC Masaryk University/IOCB Prague, and 5 000 CZK for participants outside these institutes (including VAT). The registration fee covers accommodation (in shared double or triple rooms), catering, and bus transport provided by organisers. Places at the event are limited, participants will be selected after the registration deadline and notified of participation within a week of the deadline. Details about payment and further organisation of the event will be provided only to the selected participants.
Registration deadline: 15 September 2025
Cancellations made up to two weeks before the event will be fully refunded; after this deadline, the registration fee becomes non-refundable.
Abstracts
Abstracts should be submitted separately to PPC@ceitec.muni.cz using the provided template. The abstract submission deadline is also 15 September 2025.
