A PhD is only the beginning of the journey.
CEITEC Alumni Talks bring together current students and graduates who have transformed their doctoral experience into successful careers across academia, industry, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
In each session, a CEITEC alumnus or alumna returns to share their story: what motivated them during their PhD, which opportunities helped shape their career, what obstacles they encountered, and how they navigated important professional decisions after graduation.
The goal is simple: to help current students learn from real experiences. Alumni provide practical insights, candid advice, and answers to questions they themselves once had. By sharing both successes and setbacks, they help future researchers avoid common pitfalls and discover opportunities they might otherwise overlook.
At the same time, the Talks offer alumni an opportunity to showcase the exciting work of their current organisations and strengthen connections between CEITEC and the broader scientific, technological, and innovation ecosystem.
Expect an open conversation, plenty of time for questions, and a chance to expand your professional network within the CEITEC community.
