Job description
I am a doctoral researcher at CEITEC Brno University of Technology and the Institute of Physics of Materials, Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic. My research focuses on the inelastic deformation behavior of aluminum-based free-standing thin films, combining experimental in-situ Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) with atomistic insights from Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations. I study the mechanical response and underlying deformation mechanisms at the nanoscale by directly observing thin film behavior under loading within the TEM and comparing it with simulation results. This integrated experimental–computational approach enables a deeper understanding of plasticity and failure in nanostructured metallic systems.
