Using computed tomography (CT), we perform non-destructive inspection of batteries and their components with high resolution. The technology enables the analysis of complete battery cells at resolutions in the tens of micrometers and detailed examination of electrode structures down to hundreds of nanometers.
Method
CT analysis provides comprehensive 3D visualization of the internal structure of batteries without damaging the specimen. It enables defect identification, detailed investigation of electrodes, and multiscale imaging from the entire battery cell down to fine structural features. The method is also suitable for monitoring electrode degradation and supporting complementary analytical studies.
Typical applications:
- Non-destructive 3D inspection of batteries
- Identification of internal defects
- Electrode structure analysis
- Multiscale imaging
- Monitoring of electrode degradation
- Complementary analytical studies
Equipment
Battery inspections are carried out using industrial computed tomography (CT) systems, which provide detailed three-dimensional data on the internal structure of battery cells and their components without damaging the tested specimen.
