This unique opportunity is being offered to a researcher with a clear vision of bringing an innovative idea into commercialisation, in the areas of nanotechnology, microtechnology, biotechnology or materials science.

To come up with an innovative idea that can be applied in the commercial sector while taking advantage of the equipment at CEITEC Nano (the largest research infrastructure with clean laboratory facilities in the Czech Republic), is an opportunity which is being offered to a candidate with a clear vision and a high-quality scientific achievements. The researcher will receive two to three-years of financial support of € 250,000, provided by the City of Brno to support unique talents that do not only have research potential but who can also significantly enhance the university's ability to create commercial spin-off solutions and thus significantly stabilize the funding of science, research and innovation.

Some of the criteria that a candidate must meet includes curriculum vitae with academic, professional and applied results or a list of publications in impacted journals and grants.
