The CEITEC PhD School Conference is an annual event that aims to showcase the research results of PhD candidates at the CEITEC MUNI PhD School. This event serves as a platform for PhD candidates to present their findings to peers, mentors, and principal investigators, fostering invaluable person-to-person interactions that remain irreplaceable in our technologically advanced age. Doctoral researchers have an amazing opportunity to train their presentation and communication skills within a familiar and supportive environment. This conference represents an excellent opportunity to learn what research is taking place in the laboratories across the CEITEC PhD School at Masaryk University.
In addition to PhD School candidates and their supervisors, we warmly invite the entire scientific staff at CEITEC MUNI to join us. Registration is open until May 16.
FORMAL PART OF THE CONFERENCE
(Members of the Life Sciences Doctoral Board, CEITEC PhD School candidates and their supervisors do not need to register. Other guests are kindly asked to use the registration form below.)
Presentation session in B11/205
Each 4th-year PhD candidate delivers a 10-minute presentation introducing the research topic, methodology and results that have been achieved so far. Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A part.
Each 3rd-year PhD candidate also gives a short flash talk, visually supported by one slide.
Poster session in CEITEC atrium
3rd-year PhD candidates and candidates in their 5th year and beyond present their posters and discuss their research with attendees.

Every CEITEC PhD School candidate is required to enrol in the course S5012 CEITEC PhD School Conference in the spring term 2026.
