About event
Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of science, creativity, and community! The EU-LIFE Science Vision Talk Contest is a flagship event of the EU-LIFE Community Meeting 2025, hosted by CEITEC Masaryk University in Brno. Inspired by the spirit of the Eurovision Song Contest, this unique showcase brings together nominated scientists from EU-LIFE member institutes for a bold and engaging science communication competition.
Each speaker has just 4 minutes to present impactful science—from groundbreaking discoveries to visionary research—using storytelling, visuals, and creative formats. Talks will be delivered live in Brno and streamed simultaneously to viewing halls across EU-LIFE institutes, allowing colleagues and supporters to watch, cheer, and vote together.
This is not just a contest—it’s a celebration of scientific excellence, playful communication, and the shared values that connect researchers across Europe.
