Junior Researcher

High-resolution imaging, mechanical and chemical mapping of bio-samples

About this position: 

We're opening a junior research position in our team! We are a shared laboratory that works with other teams on projects involving high-resolution imaging, biomechanical studies, chemical mapping, and electrophysiology.

Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art AFM, optical, and Raman microscopes; MEA field instruments; and other instruments.

We are seeking a creative, independent, and driven individual with documented research experience related to this position.

Your profile: 

Must-have: 

• A PhD degree or equivalent in biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field
• Expertise in AFM, optical, and Raman microscopy of bio-samples is a strong plus, as well as programming skills
• A publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Interpersonal skills required to support CF lab users
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-have: 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivation and a collaborative mindset
