Join us for the next session of the Life after PhD event series. This time, we welcome Markéta Vlasáková, the Project Manager from the Technology transfer office, Masaryk University.
Markéta graduated from the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague (Master's degree in Biochemistry) and further obtained her PhD in Virology at the University of Vienna, Austria. Her expertise was enhanced by a short-term fellowship at the THL in Helsinki, Finland. She left Europe in order to participate in research connected to a clinical trial of a certain oncology condition within a contracted research project at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She also took part in a basic research project at Sussex University, Brighton, United Kingdom. After her enterprise abroad, she returned to the Czech Republic and got a position as a Project Manager at the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) MU.
Markéta passionately applies her accumulated research knowledge to her current role. Her main attention is oriented toward intellectual property management. Her goal is to transfer suitable inventions from Masaryk University into the private sphere in order to get novel products and services for our society.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, 24 October 2023, 14:00 - 15:00 CET via ZOOM.
