About event
This workshop is aiming at researchers that are planning to analyze metagenomes in their lab, or already study metagenomes and would like to gain more methodical background for their work. We will cover four laboratory methods (16S sequencing, Whole shotgun metagenome, MinION 16S sequencing, MinION metagenome) routinely used to study metagenome and make the data available to you for comparison. As a take-home message, you should be able to distinguish the strengths and weaknesses of covered methods and design your experiments accordingly. The preanalytical workflow will be covered theoretically.
