Lucy Vojtová leads the Advanced Biomaterials Research Group at CEITEC Brno University of Technology. Her research focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials for regenerative medicine and the controlled release of bioactive substances.
In her work, she integrates materials engineering, chemistry, and biology with technologies such as 3D printing, bioprinting, and nanostructuring. An important part of her research is also the development of tissue models for drug testing and the study of diseases.
The Advanced Biomaterials Research Group consists of experts from various scientific disciplines who participate in international projects in collaboration with both academic and private-sector partners. The team places strong emphasis on the practical application of research outcomes, primarily in human medicine, but also in veterinary medicine.
