Nowadays, there are many male reproductive health challenges. More than 20% of couples experience infertility problems, 40-60% of those cases are due to male factor infertility. The health issues related to reproductive aging of men such as male reproductive cancers have been rising. Chemicals surrounding us are blamed for those health problems and trends. This talk will address this concern with a focus on how currently chemicals are assessed for male reproductive toxicity and what are the challenges concerning the use of animal-free models for reproductive toxicology and biomedicine.
