About event
Gas chromatography - high-resolution mass spectrometry (GC-HRMS) as an analytical technique is used for the detection and identification of small molecules in large non-targeted studies of biological samples. Though technical advances facilitate the qualitative detection of thousands of compounds contained in a single sample in the raw data, most studies are only able to confirm the presence of few hundred compounds through manual curation by an expert at best. Currently available automatic data processing methods are not adequate for the quantity and quality of produced data, creating the need for advanced data processing techniques.
