Disorders in cellular electrophysiology result in various human pathologies, including arrhythmias or epilepsy. Studying these disorders on the tissue and cellular level is essential for understanding the underlying pathogenesis and, subsequently, for developing new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Examples of our recent findings will be introduced during the lecture to demonstrate the impact of such data on current knowledge in the field.
