CAR-T Cells are the AVENGERS of the immune system, highly engineered heroes sent to destroy cancer cells. However, these heroes sometimes face severe resistance on the battlefield, limiting their power and durability. Our mission was to discover the ultimate pharmacological key: the "Infinity Stones" of cancer therapy, unlocking their full potential. We used fishing in the sea (genome-wide CRISPR screen), a digital blueprint of the cell's entire operating system to precisely locate that hidden genetic regulator. By identifying and targeting this single gene, we can enhance the CAR-T Cells, by weakening the cancer cells, ensuring our avengers wield enough power to win the war against cancer.
