About event
Expansion microscopy, introduced ten years ago by Ed Boyden, surpasses the conventional diffraction limits of optical microscopes by physically enlarging biological samples using hydrogel polymers. At CELLIM microscopy facility, we integrate this method with advanced imaging techniques, including confocal and light sheet microscopy. This combination achieves resolutions comparable to electron microscopy, significantly enhancing the visualization of subcellular structures. The method profoundly impacts research advancements in cell biology, neuroscience, and biomedical sciences.
