We warmly invite you to pre-Christmas Brno for the TEM Meeting, held on the occasion of the inauguration of our TITAN Themis 60-300 back to service after its major upgrades.
This monochromated and Cs-image-corrected transmission electron microscope was installed in the CEITEC Nano cleanrooms at CEITEC Brno University of Technology in 2016. Since then, it has served both the academic and industrial communities in Czechia and abroad, delivering state-of-the-art results in numerous investigations.
During this year, the microscope has been upgraded with the latest cutting-edge technologies to provide the community with TEM instrumentation that matches the capabilities of the world’s leading laboratories. The upgrades include:
- S-CORR Cs-probe corrector for ultimate HR-STEM imaging and analysis
- GIF Continuum HR spectrometer and image filter, equipped with K3 and STELA cameras, offering unprecedented performance in EELS, EFTEM, and 4D-STEM
The main goal of this event is to bring together the TEM community to share the latest experiences and results and to discuss everything that matters in TEM. You will also learn about the new capabilities of our upgraded TITAN and how you can make use of them in your own research.
During the meeting, both upgrades will be presented by specialists from Thermo Fisher Scientific and GATAN / AMETEK. Related topics will be further explored by invited speakers, and ample space will be provided for presentations and posters from all participants.
