Additionally, Brno’s location makes it an easily accessible destination, ideal for exploring its heritage and the surrounding regions.
Travel:
Brno is well-connected and easily accessible by air. The closest major airports are:
- Brno-Tuřany Airport (BRQ) is located about 7.5 km from the city center and offers several international flights.
- Vienna International Airport (VIE) is located approximately 140 km from Brno and offers numerous international connections.
- Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG): About 210 km from Brno, with extensive international flight options.
You can reach Brno by train, bus, or rental car from the airport.
You can reach Brno by Gepard Express. This company offers a direct connection from Vienna and Prague to the city center of Brno. Another option is to use Flixbus or Regiojet (but in the case of arrival from Prague, the connection is not direct from the airport). All these companies stop in Brno (hotel Grand) near the Main station, the main transport hub, and transport throughout Brno.
The venue is Technická 12. The nearest bus stop is PODNIKATELSKÁ. From the Main station, you can use TRAM 1 to stop at Husitská and then BUS 72 to stop at Podnikatelská. If you use only TRAM 12 to stop at TECHNOLOGICKÝ PARK, it is about a 10-minute' walk to the venue. Uber or BOLT are also available in Brno.

Venue Professor Brauner's auditorium
Professor Brauner's auditorium at Technická 12, 612 00 Brno. The auditorium became the dominant feature of the entire campus. It is a dome-shaped space with a capacity of 300 students and dimensions of 15 by 27 meters. It was named after Professor Jiří Brauner, historically the second dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
