Prof. Yoshihiro Deguchi (Tokushima University, Japan)
Title of presentation: Multi-element detection using LIBS for 2D/3D mapping and process monitoring
Yoshihiro Deguchi has been involved in the development of laser diagnostic methods such as tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, and has applied these technologies to industrial fields for DX (Digital Transformation) and Digital Twin. In 2010, he joined Tokushima University as a full-time professor. He is one of the leading engineers in the practical application of laser diagnostics, especially for industrial systems.

Prof. Tetsuo Sakka (Kyoto University, Japan)
Title of presentation: Time evolution of plasma parameters of underwater LIBS obtained by spectroscopic techniques
Tetsuo Sakka completed a master's course in industrial chemistry at Kyoto University. After working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Atomic Energy and an associate professor at the Institute of Advanced Energy, Kyoto University, he became a professor in the Department of Energy and Hydrocarbon Chemistry at the same university in 2012. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyoto University in 1992.
