Admission Process – Life Sciences

The Life Sciences programme at CEITEC PhD School follows a two-round admission process. Below is a detailed overview of each step, including evaluation criteria and scoring.

First Round: Application Review & Pre-Interview

Your CV and application documents will be reviewed and evaluated. A pre-interview with the supervisor will be included as part of this stage.

Second Round: Admission Interview

• Presentation Requirement

Candidates are expected to prepare a 5-minute presentation covering the following topics:    

1. Field of study and summary of your Master’s thesis (use a maximum of 2 slides)
2. Personal motivation to pursue research and your research interests
3. Career plans

After the presentation, the committee will ask questions focused on:

• Your general knowledge in the field of study
• Your other related activities
   

Overall Score Summary
