Description:
The ASD S015 dynamometer, with a maximum power output of 15 kW, speeds up to 20,000 rpm, and torque of 48 Nm up to 3,000 rpm is a compact yet highly accurate testing device designed primarily for testing small and medium-power electric motors. Thanks to its wide speed range, it is ideal for the development of high-speed drives in the field of light electric mobility (e.g., e-bikes, scooters, drones), aviation systems, or laboratory validation of industrial automation components. The ability to apply controlled loads in the low-speed range is essential for testing efficiency, starting torques, thermal behavior, and dynamic transients.
Thanks to the integrated battery simulator with an output of 700 V and 400 A, it is possible to realistically simulate the power supply to the motor and inverter without the need to connect to an actual battery. This is advantageous not only in terms of safety but also for test repeatability and the simulation of various operating conditions—such as different charge states and voltage drops.
