Our research aims at providing mechanistic understanding including target recognition and molecular interactions of translation control processes, defining working principles of RQC components and their disease-causing mutations in neurons and revealing the molecular mechanisms by which viruses affect host translation control.

In 2023, Dr. Těšina was awarded the ERC Starting Grant.
