Prof. Marek Mráz, Ph.D.
Research topic: Microenvironment of Immune Cells
Main research interest: The role of non-coding RNAs (microRNAs and long-noncoding RNAs) in the molecular pathways that regulate microenvironmental interactions in normal and malignant immune cells.

Our research also aims at development of novel targeted therapies in B cell malignancies (miR-therapy, targeting of BCR-signalling/adhesion) and at prognostic and predictive markers in hematological malignancies (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, B-Cell Lymphomas).
In 2018, Dr. Mráz was awarded the ERC Starting Grant.
