The private 5G network installed in the testbed enables robust, high-speed wireless communication with low data transmission latency thanks to its exclusive use within these premises. This allows us to simulate the conditions of a private 5G network in an industrial environment. In testbed we are able to measure network throughput, response times, and one-way latency during data transfers under various configurations of end devices, the 5G network itself, or types of data traffic in the context of an industrial factory. In the testbed, we can also test end-devices such as routers equipped with 5G modems and measure their parameters for validation.
