Welcome and Info PhD Day

We cordially invite you to the Welcome and Info PhD Day. You will learn a lot of helpful information essential for the smooth progress of your studies and you will have a unique opportunity to ask anything you need to know. You will meet people from CEITEC and faculties who will help you during your studies and with their successful completion. 

The day's itinerary unfolds in three distinct parts:

1. NCBR Welcome and Info PhD Day
   Organized by The National Centre for Biomolecular Research, this part is mandatory for all PhD candidates (from the 1st to 4th year of study) within the following study programs:
   - Biomolecular chemistry and bioinformatics (more info here);
   - Genomics and Proteomics (more info here);
   - Life Sciences.
2. CEITEC Welcome and Info PhD Day
   Hosted by CEITEC PhD School, this part is mandatory for all PhD candidates (from the 1st to 4th year of study, participation is a condition of the Field Seminar S5050) within the following study programs:
   - Life Sciences;
   - Biomedical Sciences – spec. Molecular Medicine.
3. CEITEC Tea Time Special
   This part is not mandatory for anyone! But we hope that all PhD candidates from CEITEC PhD school will meet together, warmly welcome newcomers, and celebrate the dawn of a new academic year. An assortment of refreshments awaits.

Please note that although attendance at Welcome and Info PhD Days is not mandatory for PhD candidates within 5th year of study or higher, it is highly recommended for them because information regarding state doctoral examinations and dissertation defence will be presented there.
