Description:

The Cell Culture Laboratory at the Biophotonics Core Facility provides a fully equipped environment for safe and reliable in-vitro cell work. The lab is designed to support a wide range of cell culture experiments and the preparation of samples for advanced imaging and biophotonics applications.


Specification:

Our equipment includes:

  • Biohazard Safety Cabinet (Thermo Fisher) – ensuring sterile handling of cell cultures and user safety.
  • CO₂ Cell Incubator (Schoeller) – maintaining stable conditions for optimal cell growth and viability.
  • -80 °C Freezer – for secure long-term storage of biological samples.
  • Centrifuge – for efficient sample processing and cell fractionation.
  • Autoclave – providing sterilization of laboratory consumables and media.

 

  • Inverted Microscope (Nikon TS100) – enabling routine observation and assessment of cell morphology.
