There are a total of three areas of research at CEITEC BUT. Our main priorities include not only international research cooperation, but also its interdisciplinary nature. CEITEC Nano shared laboratories operate in an open access mode and provide ideal conditions for solving multidisciplinary issues, as their equipment can also be used by external users, institutions or industry partners.

Prof. Pavel Václavek, Ph.D.
More about the coordinator
This area bridges research in automation, robotics, sensing, and measurement systems with their practical application in industry. It delivers innovative solutions for smart manufacturing, autonomous and electric mobility, healthcare technologies, and other future-oriented applications
We provide access to technology equipment for nanotechnology and material science research. The uniqueness of laboratories lies in the possibility of so-called "open" and "self-service" access. This is because not only the CEITEC scientific teams, but also other academic and industrial users are able to take advantage of the comprehensive device complex
The newly established International Research and Innovation Center for Advanced Production focuses on research areas related to Industry 4.0 and will strengthen industrial production research with the results of artificial intelligence research
